MUMBAI, 06 Nov (Commoditiescontrol): The average daily unloading rate for grain wagons at the ports of Great Odessa has increased by over 100 wagons per day in the past week, according to Valery Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Technology and Commercial Work at JSC Ukrzaliznytsia. This improvement highlights enhanced efficiency in grain handling operations at the ports.
At the same time, the number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of Great Odessa ports has noticeably decreased during the week - by 634 units, up to 6219 units. The average daily loading of wagons on the network in the direction of Great Odessa ports for the specified period was also less - by 65 units, up to 1330 wagons per day.
Besides, during the week the average daily grain unloading indicator at the port of Izmail decreased by 41 wagons, which is 33 wagons per day. At the same time, the accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of this port increased from 369 to 433 units during the week.
