MUMBAI, 06 Nov (Commoditiescontrol): On the auspicious occasion of "Labh Panchami", Gujarat’s castor market opened with a stable outlook, as limited selling from farmers kept prices steady. Traders noted that Thursday’s market direction would depend on castor arrivals in mandis. Meanwhile, the futures market reflected a positive trend, signaling potential support for prices.
Today, Gujarat saw approximately 22,000 bags (1 bag = 35 kg) of castor arrive, with an additional 3,000 bags from Rajasthan and 1,000 bags sold directly to mills, totaling around 26,000 bags. Castor prices remained stable at ₹1275-₹1290 per 20 kg.
