Jaipur, June 27 (Commoditiescontrol): Mustard seed and oil prices increased in Jaipur, the benchmark market, due to higher demand and lower arrivals. However, other major markets in North India, including Delhi and Charkhi Dadri in Haryana, experienced stable prices.
In Jaipur, mustard seed prices rose by Rs 25 to Rs 6059-6075 per quintal (excluding GST). Mustard oil expeller and Kachchi Ghani prices also saw a Rs 7 increase, reaching Rs 1154-1145 and Rs 1164-1165 per 10kg, respectively. Mustard cake prices remained unchanged at Rs 2665-2670 per quintal.
Meanwhile, prices in Delhi and Charkhi Dadri remained flat, with mustard seed quoted at Rs 5900-5950 and Rs 5850-5900 per quintal, respectively. Mustard oil expeller prices were steady at Rs 1145 and Rs 1130 per 10kg, respectively. Mustard cake prices in Charkhi Dadri were also unchanged at Rs 2620 per quintal.
Total mustard seed arrivals across the country were around 4 lakh bags, with Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat being the major contributing states.

At Kandla port, CPO and RBD palmolein prices increased slightly, while soyoil refine and degum prices also rose. Sunflower refine oil prices remained stable.
The mustard market witnessed mixed trends, with Jaipur experiencing price increases due to increased demand and reduced arrivals. However, other major markets remained steady. The overall market sentiment remains cautious, with traders closely monitoring arrivals and demand patterns to anticipate future price movements.
