Indian Soybean Arrivals Witness Upward Trend Amidst Unchanged Plant Rate

Mumbai, April 25 (Commodities Control) - The Indian soybean market is witnessing a notable surge in arrivals, attributed to the unchanged plant rate across key producing regions.

Total soybean arrivals across the nation have soared to 265,000 bags, with Madhya Pradesh, the leading soybean producer, contributing a substantial 120,000 bags. Maharashtra reported a significant influx of 120,000 bags, while Rajasthan contributed 13,000 bags to the cumulative arrivals. Other states collectively accounted for an additional 12,000 bags in the overall arrivals.




Across various mandis, soybean prices have displayed regional fluctuations reflecting market dynamics. In Madhya Pradesh, prices ranged between Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,650 per quintal. Maharashtra observed fluctuations, with prices hovering between Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,550 per quintal, while Rajasthan reported prices ranging from Rs 4,450 to Rs 4,575 per quintal.

Shifting focus to soybean plant prices, Madhya Pradesh reported prices ranging from Rs 4,700 to Rs 4,800 per quintal. Maharashtra witnessed variability in plant prices, fluctuating between Rs 4,675 and Rs 4,750 per quintal. Meanwhile, Rajasthan recorded plant prices in the range of Rs 4,675 to Rs 4,725 per quintal.




The surge in soybean arrivals amidst unchanged plant rates indicates a dynamic market scenario, with regional variations shaping price trends across key producing states.
