New Delhi, June 21 (Commoditiescontrol) Menath oil prices were mixed on Friday amid increased arrivals. Futures were trading firm after constant weakness witnessed in past sessions. Prices of mentha oil were also firm in the market of Chandausi while other markets witnessed bearish tone as arrivals increased.
Mentha oil prices were quoted a tad up at Rs 950-952 per kg in the market of Chandausi. Mentha oil prices were also quoted down at Rs 900 per kg in the market of Barabanki as arrivals increased.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in June was Rs 3.5 up at Rs 909 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 302 and volume of 181.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in July was Rs 6.2 higher at Rs 925 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 408 and volume of 249.
Mentha Oil contract for JUN delivery settled at Rs 909/quintal showing an rise of Rs 3.5 over previous close of Rs 905.5/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 893.4-909 for the day. Open interest decreased by -121 MT to 181 MT, while trading volume increased by 71 to 208 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 925/quintal showing an rise of Rs 6.2 over previous close of Rs 918.8/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 910.2-925.9 for the day. Open interest increased by 101 MT to 408 MT, while trading volume increased by 143 to 249 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for AUG delivery settled at Rs 930.9/quintal showing an rise of Rs 2.8 over previous close of Rs 928.1/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 925-930.9 for the day. Open interest increased by 10 MT to 59 MT, while trading volume decreased by -5 to 26 MT.
Currently The spread between JUN and JUL contract is -16 Rs/quintal.
Currently The spread between JUL and AUG contract is -5.89999999999998 Rs/quintal.
Currently The spread between JUN and AUG contract is -21.9 Rs/quintal.
